# Mattermost Packet P2 canonical vault recovery completed

BLUF: opencode created Packet P2 docs under /home/tlswk/mattermost-src/packet-o2 instead of the canonical vault. Codex found the misplaced files and copied them into the canonical Mattermost vault.

Recovered P2 files:
- scheme-evaluation-chain.md
- role-scheme-table-map.md
- admin-scheme-change-flow.md
- scheme-debugging-checklist.md
- p2-still-uncertain.md

Additional Codex edits:
- Updated permission-cache/README.md with P/P2 document index.
- Corrected permission-check-chain.md earlier: removed misleading single getUser example from SessionHasPermissionToChannel usage list.

Verification:
- permission-cache now has 11 markdown docs, 1,975 total lines.
- Markdown fence balance passed for all permission-cache docs.
- git status shows permission-cache under untracked webapp/docs vault, matching the existing vault state.

Next recommendation:
- Do not start another packet until opencode is explicitly instructed to work in /home/tlswk/projects/mattermost/mattermost/webapp. For next packet, choose Packet Q cluster/WebSocket/cache invalidation fanout or a vault consolidation pass.
